A comprehensive program that equips both you and your support person with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to have the positive birthing experience your family deserves.
My partner Damien and I recently completed a Hypnobirthing course with Bianca, and we can’t recommend it highly enough
– Esther from Katoomba
The “hypno” in hypnobirthing refers to the self-hypnosis or guided meditation we use to shift your mindset, release fear, and approach birth with confidence.
This is the heart of hypnobirthing: rewriting negative narratives around birth and alchemising fear into trust.
When we release fear and practise deep relaxation in this way, we’re far less likely to enter a fight-or-flight response during labour, and better equipped to regulate ourselves (and be supported to by loved ones) if we do.
This matters because the stress response directly affects how labour unfolds:
Hypnobirthing breaks this cycle through mindset work. But it doesn’t stop there: the program also includes practical tools, evidence-based education, and broader support for you and your support person.
This program blends:
An independent study (which collected data over a year long period and compared the birth outcomes of those who attended our program with those who didn’t at Bunbury Hospital WA) found that our program led to:
& that 90% felt empowered and excited about their birth
This is Australia’s most popular childbirth education course, having supported thousands of families to approach their births feeling empowered and excited.
for the first, second, third time. At home or in the hospital. Planning or exploring a VBAC, caesarean, induction, spontaneous physiological birth or anything in between.
The classes were very informative and well delivered.
We left with a fresh perspective on labour and are feeling excited about using the skills taught.

The guided visualisations, breathing exercises and affirmations have made a huge difference in how we view childbirth.
What once felt intimidating now feels like something we can approach with calmness and trust.

I’ve been there too.
During my first pregnancy, I navigated the public health system with PCOS and Gestational Diabetes (GD) and was really taken aback by the lack of information and decision-making shared with me.
From day one I was told I would be induced early- no discussion, no explanation of risks either way. I was not asked, just told what would happen.
I was dismissed and made to feel selfish or reckless when I questioned whether an induction was the right path for us.
I knew intuitively that it wasn’t but my self-trust wobbled in those appointments. And after one appointment that left me rage-crying in the car, I cancelled our hospital birth class and went searching for something different.
That’s when I discovered Hypnobirthing Australia’s program. I was drawn to it because I wanted to approach birth with excitement rather than fear, and to access unbiased, evidence-based information to truly understand my options. The program gave me that and so much more. I felt supported, informed, confident, and ready to reclaim my agency and advocate for what was best for my family.
Fast forward to my 38-week appointment. All the evidence the hospital swore by showed my son was the perfect size for my body and my GD well-controlled, yet the pressure to induce remained. Armed with newfound knowledge and confidence, I kept probing until a junior obstetrician finally admitted the real reason: staffing shortages over Christmas.
With the tools, knowledge and mindset hypnobirthing gave me, I went on to have the positive, empowering birth I had hoped for. Conor arrived spontaneously at 39 weeks and 5 days, at 3.5kg and perfectly healthy.
In the three years since, I’ve supported local families as a certified Hypnobirthing Australia practitioner and welcomed my second baby in a family-centred homebirth.
I offer this program because every family deserves clear information, genuine support, and the confidence to make decisions that are right for them. And every family should approach birth with excitement, not fear. My goal is to help you experience the empowering birth your family deserves, just as I did (twice).
not anti-hospital or anti-intervention. It is committed to inclusivity and supporting all families to have a positive and empowering experience no matter where (home or hospital) or how (with or without interventions) they birth.
It is designed to equip families with the information and support they need to take back the decision-making power and to make informed decisions that are right for them.
It is determined to make this kind of birth knowledge and support more widely accessible, as knowledge is power.
It is driven by a passion to rewrite the negative stories we’ve all heard about birth, replace fear with excitement and normalise positive birthing experiences.
Bianca created a warm, supportive, and empowering environment that made us feel both comfortable and confident about the birthing process.
Bianca is an exceptional facilitator. Her knowledge and genuine passion for what she does really shine through in every aspect of the course.
She explained the theory behind Hypnobirthing clearly and offered a wealth of practical tools and techniques to help us prepare for labour.

[My experience with birthing bliss was] wholesome. Bianca provided a safe space to feel calm and made me feel able to express my feelings.

Whether you’re birthing at home or in a hospital, and whether your birth is with or
without interventions, our program is designed for you.
It’s designed to support you to make informed decisions that are right for you and your baby, for whatever turns your birthing takes.
There is no space here for judgment, hierarchies of birth modalities or a a onesize- fits-all approach- just informed decision making.
Whether you’re more evidence-driven, more intuitive and spiritual, or somewhere in between, you’ll feel supported here.
The program honours your inner knowing and equips you with grounded, practical tools.
It blends the latest medical research with a deep understanding of the physiological birth process, along with mindset work backed by neuroscience.
Not only do we explore current evidence around your birth options, but we also dive into the science of the limbic system, neocortex, and autonomic nervous system to help you understand how to support your body’s innate ability to birth.
The guided meditations are practical and designed to rewire unhelpful associations, release fear, and calm the nervous system, creating the hormonal environment that best supports labour.
While hypnobirthing does include breathing techniques, it spans so much wider than that.
It covers a range of tools to support your birth experience, from light touch massage to guided mediation, to acupressure to aromatherapy.
Plus, it is so much more than these techniques: It provides you with a wealth of knowledge and support to make informed, empowered decisions about your birth.
Hypnobirthing helps you focus inwards as you apply your relaxation techniques but you will not be “out of it”. Instead, you will be “in the zone” - aware but intentionally zoning out distractions.
You might be quieter as you are more introspective (and seem “out of it”) but hypnobirthing looks different for everyone and there’s nothing wrong with this focus looking different for you (eg through vocalising).
Hypnobirthing does not promise a pain-free birth, and it’s not about avoiding the intensity of labour. Instead, it gives you practical tools to move through and manage the intensity.
By learning to work with the sensations of labour rather than resisting them, you can approach birth with less fear and stress, more confidence, and a greater sense of agency. This often leads to a more positive, empowering, self-directed experience with a lower likelihood of unwanted or unnecessary interventions.
Don’t let anyone convince you that trying for this experience isn’t worthwhile—you absolutely deserve it, and it’s entirely possible.
I get it (truly). Investing in birth support can feel big, especially when you're already investing in prams, car seats, bassinets etc for the baby. And since this kind of support isn’t yet the norm, it’s normal to pause before saying yes.
A few things to consider as you decide whether this stretch is possible:
Prams and baby gear eventually get packed away. But the value of birth and postpartum support lasts- impacting your baby and your family for life.
If this feels aligned but financially tight, please reach out + we can explore solutions together.
Our two-day format is designed with busy families in mind. In just 12 hours over two days, you’ll gain all the tools, strategies, and knowledge you need. It’s focused, practical, and intensive, helping you feel confident and prepared for birth without taking up weeks of your life.
Many parents find that dedicating this focused time not only reduces stress and saves time searching for reliable information, but also provides a special opportunity to reconnect and bond with each other and their baby, whether they are first-time parents or welcoming another child into the family.
I hear you. Avoiding preparation might feel like protecting your peace but it can leave you facing decisions you weren’t ready for.
I hear it often: parents create a birth plan for an intervention-free birth, only to meet an unexpected fork in the road. Without exploring alternative routes ahead of time, they don’t feel equipped to make truly informed and aligned decisions at that defining crossroad.
Most second-time families I’ve worked with have shared this truth.
This isn’t about adding more information to your plate; it’s about simplifying it. It’s not about adding pressure; it’s about easing it.
Together, we sort through the noise so you can feel more grounded and confident instead of overwhelmed and lost.
Trusting your body and your baby is powerful, and preparation doesn’t take away from that. It protects your ability to flow with birth, not be swept along by the system.
The group program runs over 2 consecutive Saturdays, from 10am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break. Please see our our upcoming dates below.
Private classes are tailored to your availability (Sundays and weeknights). Please reach out to discuss this option.
While you can absolutely begin hypnobirthing at any time and still enjoy its benefits, we do recommend taking the program between 20 and 30 weeks, if possible.
This will give you time to practise the techniques and will ensure that the content is fresh in your mind when you give birth.
We also recommend that you sign up for a class as early as possible to secure your spot as spaces are limited and can sell out early.
Your support person can be anyone who will be present during your birth- this could be your partner, parent, sibling, friend, or another trusted person. It’s important to invite your birth partner if available, as the program is designed to include them as well.
If there are exceptional circumstances and you require more than one support person, please contact us so we can discuss how to accommodate your needs.
If you don’t have a birth partner or support person, that’s perfectly okay too.
Yes, we can run hybrid programs. If you need, or would prefer, to join us remotely please contact us.
We will connect via Zoom and will post the Hypnobirthing Australia workbook in advance.
Let's talk it through. Contact me here and I'll set a time for a 15-20 minute phone or video call. Or we can email if you'd prefer.
Overall, Bianca's Hypnobirthing class exceeded all our expectations.
We left each of the sessions feeling more informed, connected, and at peace. We’re incredibly grateful for everything we’ve learned and feel much more prepared and excited for the arrival of our baby.
