A self-guided resource to help you lay the groundwork for a postpartum that truly nourishes and supports your family.
The first 40 days postpartum set the tone for the next 40 years.
And yet, so many new parents, as well as those growing their families, enter this important season feeling unprepared, overwhelmed and lost.
It can be hard to find the right support, or even to appreciate what that support should be, when you're in the thick of it.
Our Postpartum Mapping ebook helps you to set up this crucial support in advance.
At birthing bliss, we believe in the power of postpartum mapping- an approach that goes beyond a checklist of items for the baby, to truly support you and your family in creating a nourishing, well-supported fourth trimester for you all.
This ebook guides you step-by-step through the principles of a supported postpartum and how to integrate them with ease, helping you build a truly nourishing and supportive fourth trimester.
I wasn’t sure what to expect as I have never considered ‘planning’ my postpartum but now I feel it is essential for every woman to have this.
- Louise from Linden
whether it’s your first or your fourth.
Straight to the point, accessible, value-packed summaries of the “why” behind each principle and how to weave them into your life in realistic, grounding ways.
We cover:
Prompts for each principle to help you explore:
For each principle, you’ll be guided to explore:
as a dedicated section for collecting recommendations, local services, recipes, tools, podcasts and supports that feel aligned with what you’re building.
The eBook gives you a self-guided, highly accessible way to explore the eight postpartum principles, reflect deeply, and map your needs at your own pace. It’s a powerful standalone resource.
The Postpartum Mapping Session takes everything further, and makes it personal.
With the session, you receive:
The eBook stands alone beautifully but the session brings your map to life, with its greater depth, clarity and personalised guidance.
If you begin with the eBook and later want that personalised, 1:1 layer, you can simply pay the difference to upgrade to the full Mapping Session.
Plans can be a beautiful way to visualise the postpartum of your dreams. But they only scratch the surface:
That’s why I offer mapping instead.
Mapping:
Because it’s not about controlling the journey. It’s about having the knowledge, support, and confidence to navigate it, no matter how it unfolds.
Plus this is more than a template- its education on the core 8 postpartum principles and guided reflection to integrate those lessons.
This offering is for any family:
I’ve worked with families in their first postpartum and in their fourth.
Every family deserves this kind of support and the truly nourishing and supportive postpartum that follows.
This is designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether this is your first postpartum or your fourth, whether you’re already immersed in postpartum philosophy or just beginning to explore it.
Not unless you want it to.
You can work through it slowly, revisit sections, or use it as a gentle touchstone.
It’s designed to meet you where you are.
No. The eBook is intentionally designed to stand on its own.
It will support you whether you’re journeying with a doula or not.
It may, however, gently highlight any gaps in your support structures and help you understand where doula care could be valuable for you.
The benefits of a supported postpartum are so expansive.
Benefits to the whole family unit, now and into their future, reaching so many layers of their individual and collective wellbeing.
To give a few examples:
And because each family member’s experience is so deeply connected, every benefit to one strengthens them all. A supported parent, for example, is better resourced to co-regulate, be present with, and emotionally available for their kids - showing how support for their emotional wellbeing flows throughout the whole family unit.
Your experience matters too. You deserve care that’s just as intentional as the care you’ll give your baby.
Plus, your wellbeing and your baby’s wellbeing are deeply connected. Meeting your needs is meeting theirs.
During the fourth trimester, babies have sensitive, developing nervous systems and rely on their caregivers for co-regulation ie learning how to feel safe, soothed, and secure in the world. In the same way, a caregiver’s stress and responsiveness shape a baby’s lifelong stress patterns and attachment.
This is just one example of how closely intertwined your needs are with your baby’s.
When a mother is nourished and supported, her baby thrives, and so does the whole family for that matter.
For many of us, our mothers and grandmothers didn’t have this kind of support. They survived, but they didn’t necessarily thrive. They did what they could with what they had.
But that doesn’t mean it has to be the same for us. Prioritising rest, recovery, and support isn’t self-indulgent. It’s:
And it’s setting a new standard for the next generation: We don’t “bounce back”, we move forward - supported, nourished and stronger for it.
Our Postpartum offerings are rooted in the belief that postpartum is a sacred and powerful season deserving of care and intention.
With the right support, this transformative time can lay the foundation for lifelong wellbeing, deep connection, and holistic healing for you and your family.
I am sincerely passionate about making our offerings as accessible as possible, and always open to co-designing solutions to any barriers you may be facing.
Investing in postpartum support doesn’t just carry you through that pivotal season-it continues to nurture your whole family’s well-being for years to come.
We can arrange tailored payment plans – please reach out to discuss how we can make this work for you.
