Plans can be a beautiful way to visualise the postpartum of your dreams. But they only scratch the surface:

  • When things don’t go to plan, many parents are left feeling lost, stuck, or worse, like they’ve somehow failed.


That’s why I offer mapping instead.

  • Guides you through a landscape of possibilities: the turns, the detours, the “what ifs,” so you are ready to make aligned choices at any fork in the road. 


Because it’s not about controlling the journey. It’s about having the knowledge, support, and confidence to navigate it, no matter how it unfolds. 


Plus this is more than a template- its education on the core 8 postpartum principles and guided reflection to integrate those lessons.

  • If you’re newer to postpartum principles:  The explanations are simple, clear and practical. You’ll understand each principle, why it matters, and how to bring it into your home in realistic, accessible ways. Everything is broken down step-by-step because this isn’t about adding more information to your plate; but simplifying it. 
  • If you’re already familiar with postpartum care: The journal prompts, the “vision–obstacles–support” worksheets, and the reflective pieces help you go deeper, uncover blind spots, and refine what you want this postpartum to actually feel like. Plus the educational content is easily shareable with partners and others in your community who aren’t as familiar as you are.

You can work through it slowly, revisit sections, or use it as a gentle touchstone.
It’s designed to meet you where you are.


No. The eBook is intentionally designed to stand on its own.

It will support you whether you’re journeying with a doula or not.

It may, however, gently highlight any gaps in your support structures and help you understand where doula care could be valuable for you. 


The benefits of a supported postpartum are so expansive.

Benefits to the whole family unit, now and into their future, reaching so many layers of their individual and collective wellbeing. 


To give a few examples:

  • For Mum: Supports perineal or caesarean recovery, pelvic floor healing, emotional wellbeing, and long-term vitality while reducing risks of depression, anxiety, and depletion - laying the foundation for her health for the next 40 years.
  • For Dad/Partner: Improves mental health, confidence, and bonding, and strengthens communication and teamwork for family life ahead.
  • For Baby: Supports secure attachment, co-regulation, breastfeeding, and healthy nervous system, brain, and immune development - shaping wellbeing for life.
  • For Sibling/s: Promotes emotional security, inclusion, and stability, easing adjustment and strengthening lifelong family bonds.

And because each family member’s experience is so deeply connected, every benefit to one strengthens them all. A supported parent, for example, is better resourced to co-regulate, be present with, and emotionally available for their kids - showing how support for their emotional wellbeing flows throughout the whole family unit.


Your experience matters too. You deserve care that’s just as intentional as the care you’ll give your baby.


Plus, your wellbeing and your baby’s wellbeing are deeply connected. Meeting your needs is meeting theirs.


During the fourth trimester, babies have sensitive, developing nervous systems and rely on their caregivers for co-regulation ie learning how to feel safe, soothed, and secure in the world. In the same way, a caregiver’s stress and responsiveness shape a baby’s lifelong stress patterns and attachment.


This is just one example of how closely intertwined your needs are with your baby’s. 


When a mother is nourished and supported, her baby thrives, and so does the whole family for that matter.


For many of us, our mothers and grandmothers didn’t have this kind of support. They survived, but they didn’t necessarily thrive. They did what they could with what they had.


But that doesn’t mean it has to be the same for us. Prioritising rest, recovery, and support isn’t self-indulgent. It’s:

  • healing generational patterns of burnout and martyrdom.
  • caring for your physical and mental health in a way that will support you for decades to come.
  • supporting your whole family’s wellbeing. 


And it’s setting a new standard for the next generation: We don’t “bounce back”, we move forward - supported, nourished and stronger for it.
